ArticleToPost ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at articletopost.com.

• Account data: Email, name, and profile information you provide via our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Usage data: URLs or text you submit for generation, optional notes, tone/length preferences, and generated content stored in your account.
• Payment data: Billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details; we store only what is needed for subscription and purchase history (e.g., Stripe customer ID).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information may be collected for security and operation of the service.

We use your information to provide and improve ArticleToPost: to generate ready-to-publish social content from URLs or text you provide, to manage your token balance and billing, to personalize settings (e.g., default tone), and to communicate with you (e.g., support, important service updates). We may use aggregated, non-personally identifiable data for analytics and product improvement.

Content generation uses third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI). URLs, pasted text, notes, and preferences you submit are sent to these providers to generate content. Their use of data is governed by their respective privacy policies. We do not use your content to train general-purpose AI models for purposes unrelated to providing our service to you.

We retain your account and generation data for as long as your account is active. You can request a copy of your data or deletion of your account from the app (e.g., Settings). After deletion, we remove or anonymize your data in line with our retention practices, except where we must retain it for legal or operational reasons.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (e.g., encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication). No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials safe.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of ArticleToPost after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
